Glasgow Children's Hospital receives £20,000 donation from JHF
THE JOHN HARTSON FOUNDATION has donated £20,000 to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity’s Schiehallion Appeal to help the appeal crash through the £1 million barrier.
The Foundation held it’s annual golf day at Trump Turnberry on 17th April and the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity was the chosen charity to receive proceeds.
Kirsten Sinclair, Director of Fundraising at GCHC, said:
“John has been a fantastic supporter of our charity and we are incredibly grateful for this donation. The monies raised will make such a difference to the lives of these young patients and their families. We have no raised more than £1 million from this individual appeal for children in Scotland with cancer And blood disorders.”
John Hartson said:
“To be able to help the children and and the charity in this way is satisfying and humbling. Once again, this highlights the generosity of the people who support my Foundation and the fantastic generoristy of the whole of Scotland.
”My Foundation will keep going from strength to strength, striving to help others, and we hope to crash through the £1million of our own within the next three years.”
