Sportman's Dinner raises almost £30,000
The John Hartson Foundation had its annual Sportsman's Dinner last month and once again it was another successful evening.
A sell-out crowd of 350 packed into the Glasgow Grand Central Hotel’s stunning ballroom and everyone had an enjoyable time in the company of host Peter Martin, special guest Dean Saunders and after-dinner comedian Bill Copeland.
As ever, John was joined by a host of names from Scottish football including Ally McCoist, Dixie Deans, Frank McAvennie, Ian Durrant, Mark Wilson, Billy Stark, Andy McLaren and Austin MacPhee.
The event - sponsored by Jackton Moor Kitchens and Document Solutions - raised almost £30,000 and that was down to the generosity of everyone involved. From buying tables to raffle tickets and auction prizes, it made for another memorable night on the JHF social calendar to raise money for worthy causes.
The JHF has now raised almost £750,000 and is heading towards the target of the magical, £1MILLION.
More stunning events are planned for next year, and it all starts with the Annual Golf Day at the fabulous Trump Turnberry course on 17th, April 2018. Keep an eye on the JHF website early in the New Year when we will announce full details.
Thanks again for all your support. It’s very much appreciated.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
